A volumetric device that measures liquid velocity in a closed pipe using Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Coils outside the pipe create a magnetic field. Electrodes on the pipe wall detect the voltage. Moving conductive liquid cuts through the magnetic field and induces a voltage. Faster fluid flow creates a higher voltage. The meter converts this voltage into a precise flow rate.
